The only University in Sanaag
Sanaag University of Science and Technology (USTec) is first institution of higher education conducting research and providing education based on it. Generally the University of Sanaag consists of two major degree departments; general science and social science and it operates on two campuses.
The University provides solid foundation for lifelong learning that is crucial in today’s dynamic and technologically changing world. Sanaag University is semester based system on credit hours. The University has recently established faculty of Islamic Sharia and law which is due to start in mid 2010 (new academic calendar 2009/2010).
